Mid-century Japanese ceramic winking dog with lustreware hat, designed as a small planter, toothpick holder or ashtray. Original souvenir decal reads “Souvenir of Carlsbad Caverns, N. Mex.” Marked with the Seto Japan rooster backstamp (S-E-T), a mark found on 1950s–60s export ceramics. Great collectible for National Park and travel souvenir enthusiasts.
