This is a rare vintage Japanese Kokeshi cigarette dispenser,featuring a clever rotating mechanism hidden inside the body.
Cigarettes are stored inside the doll,and the head rotates to align the internal chamber with the opening on the back for dispensing.
This unusual functional design is rarely seen today and is considered a unique example of Japanese folk craftsmanship.
The original box is included.
The box is marked \"Oizumi\" and \"Design Registration Pending\"in Japanese.
Likely dating to the Showa era(circa 1955-1975),this is a rare and unusual collectible from Japan.

The dispenser appears to have seen little use and remains in overall good condition for its age.
The box has some storage wear and damage.
