Vintage Japanese Wakasa Nuri Lacquer Chopsticks 2 Pairs Inlay Mother of Pearl
Beautiful vintage set of 2 pairs of Japanese lacquered wood chopsticks, both appearing consistent with traditional Wakasa-nuri style lacquerware.
The black pair has a deep glossy lacquer finish with decorative mother-of-pearl/shell inlay, along with contrasting reddish-brown and gold-tone inlaid accents.
The burgundy/brown pair features a similarly glossy lacquered finish with contrasting cream-colored inlaid/laminated detailing. The wider ends have an intricate decorative pattern incorporating cream-colored circular insets, dark linework, and shimmering gold-tone/gold-fleck accents.
Both pairs have faceted/squared areas toward the wider ends rather than being completely round, a feature that also helps prevent rolling.

Condition
