Vintage Jeannette Glass Company Jadeite "Beehive" (Ribbed) Flour Shaker

This is an authentic, gorgeous piece of American Depression-era history: a Vintage Jeannette Glass Company Jadeite "Beehive" (Ribbed) Flour Shaker dating from the late 1930s to the 1940s.

This beautifully crafted kitchen caster features the iconic pale opaque green "Jadite" color and the highly sought-after horizontal concentric rings (known to collectors as the "Beehive" or "Ribbed" pattern). The front features the original bold, black screen-printed lettering for "FLOUR" in fantastic, crisp condition with virtually no fading or scratching.

Uranium Glass; this item is 100% authentic vintage production. It contains trace amounts of uranium mixed into the original glass melt. When placed under a UV blacklight (365nm or 395nm), it fluoresces a brilliant, vivid neon green, distinguishing it from modern replicas or Exceptional vintage condition overall. The opaque green glass retains its beautiful, glossy finish.

Rim/Lip: There is one minor, superficial flea bite on the upper rim underneath where the lid screws down. This is an incredibly common, minor manufacturing or usage flaw for utilitarian kitchenware of this age and does not impact display or structural integrity. There are no other major chips, cracks, or deep scratches.

Lettering: The black "FLOUR" text is remarkably sharp, bold, and fully intact.

Lid: Comes complete with its original vintage perforated aluminum screw-on shaker cap. The cap shows minor, authentic signs of age and wear (light surface oxidation/patina/indentations) as expected of a true kitchen antique, but screws on smoothly and securely.
