This is a vintage Ka-Bar 2751 boot dagger — catalog nickname The Kid. Double-edge stainless blade, brass guard, ivory Duracon-style handle, four pins. Tang reads Ka-Bar Cleveland, Ohio 2751 on one side and STAINLESS JAPAN on the other. Original black leather boot sheath with snap strap and metal clip. No box.
Looks lightly used. Blade has storage spotting. Sheath is the clean piece.

Condition Notes
Not mint. Blade has storage spotting and small dark pits — see the close-ups near the stamp and on the face. Handle and guard look sound. Spine of the tang has a small nick. Sheath leather, stitch, snap, and clip are the strong part of this set. No box. Judge from the photos.
Description & History
Cole National owned Ka-Bar when the headquarters stamp still read Cleveland, Ohio. A run of small boot daggers was contracted in Seki — same shop orbit as the 2750 you already sold. The set is usually listed as 2749 / 2750 / 2751 / 2752. This one is the 2751. Collectors call it The Kid. Cole also sold the same chassis as a Khyber 2751.
It is not a USA Olean / Solingen Ka-Bar and not current production. Period is roughly late 1970s through the mid-1980s. Seki contract work from that window is often linked to shops in the Tak Fukuta / Mitsuboshi orbit. The stamps on the knife are what matter: Ka-Bar Cleveland, Ohio 2751 / STAINLESS JAPAN.
