DESCRIPTION: Vintage approximately 7-inch Kiwanis International letter opener featuring a round blue, white and gold-tone Kiwanis emblem and an unusual hollow-formed metal blade.

The blade is constructed from formed metal with a raised central channel rather than being a solid flat blade. The circular handle displays the classic Kiwanis International “K” emblem surrounded by the organization name and decorative border.

The combination of fraternal history, blue enamel-style detailing and distinctive construction makes this a good display piece for a Kiwanis member, service-club collector, letter-opener collector or vintage office memorabilia collection.

This vintage piece shows genuine age and use, including surface scratches, tarnish, oxidation/verdigris, finish loss and discoloration.
