VINTAGE Lacquerware Box with Music, made by Prince of Japan and painted with a stylized Peony on the lid. Just over 7 1/2" wide and 2 3/4" tall, with a mirror in the lid, red flocked lining, and a hidden music box that plays a lovely Asian tune. Winding knob on the underside, on/off post in the hinge. This lovely box is in Very Good pre-owned condition - there are some minor dings and scuffs (see pics #14-16) but NO major damage or repairs, and it's very clean inside. Note, this one is not black, but more of a dark reddish mahogany color. Please review all photos, as they are part of this description.
