  • This is a unique, pair of images showing the front and back of a rare 1846 pre-Civil War handwritten historical manuscript letter from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Written from the office of the American Republican newspaper on February 6, 1846, the letter is an official business proposal addressed to the President of the Select Council of Lancaster City regarding the publication of local council proceedings.Item Details
