Vintage 8 3/4\" by 5\" by 3 3/8\" high cedar box with hinged lid and lock with key. These boxes were typically gifted to senior high school girls as an incentive to get a regular Lane cedar chest. Inside lid is stamped \"Lane presented by Imperial Furniture, Dowagiac Michigan\" who would have been the local dealer in this case. The inside card is designed to fold outside the box as shown. Card enables recipient to leave their name and selected chest style on file with the dealer so someone could reference it for a possible graduation or wedding gift. Box is solid, all binged and lock good, working lock with key. Paperwork has some minimal wear, Box finish overall pretty good with a couple little dings or scratches.
