Bevel Edge Palm Chisel With Ebonized Handle

This chisel came to me in very good shape with some scratches and scuffs to the handle. These were black Japanned (Ebonized) which I touched up. After it dried thoroughly I waxed it for longevity. It is a great example of an uncommon palm chisel. This chisel has the JENNINGS & GRIFF with the EN missing below. This chisel is in good shape and could benefit from additional honing. The steel blade has some staining and fine pitting from years of use and storage but no major rust or pitting.
