This endearing figurine features a young boy dressed in a neatly tailored jacket, striped trousers, and a bright bow tie as he stands with a TELEPHONE RECEIVER held to his ear. His expression is lively and animated, capturing the charm of a child experiencing the excitement of making a phone call. The sculpting is crisp and expressive, and the hand‑painted colors are warm, clean, and characteristic of GOEBEL'S® TMK‑5 craftsmanship. Originally sculpted by master sculptor ARTHUR MÖELLER in 1939, this piece captures the warmth and innocence of early HUMMEL artistry. Models like this one showcase the classic HAND-PAINTED shading, soft pastel palette, and sculptural detail that define the most collectible mid‑century HUMMEL craftsmanship.
