Vintage MCM GRETA GROSSMAN Cobra Lamp Mid Century Modern Lighting AS-IS 1950s For Sale

ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale arare vintage cobra lamp designed by Greta Grossman. Circa '50s. Materials: Fiberglass, Metal. The lamp features an adjustable fiberglass shade that is beige in color with black strands randomly running throughout. No labels or tags present.
MEASUREMENTS: The lamp stands approx. 20.5" tall (measured with the adjustable gooseneck stalk up and the shade pointed downward. The shade measures approx. 11.5" wide x 11" deep. The round metal base at the very bottom of the lamp is approx. 6.5" in diameter.
CONDITION: Fair condition. The biggest flaw to the lamp is that there is a burn mark / discoloration to the center of the shade (see photos of the inside and outside area). Not sure this can really be remedied, hence why it is being sold in as-is condition. The gooseneck stalk works perfectly fine, and holds its positioning properly. The round metal base at the very bottom of the lamp has a few faint scuff marks, but nothing terrible. The electrical wiring appears to be original to the lamp, and it is in good shape - there are no frays, splits, exposed or brittle areas. The actual plug tip may have been swapped out at some point in time, but we're not 100% certain. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working order. As is the case with all vintage lighting, we always suggest having a licensed professional inspect the wiring prior to long-term use. Being sold "as-is", and "as-described".
