White full-brim helmet with:
* LIEUTENANT front rank plate
* District of Columbia Fire Department shield
* E-1 side unit decal
* Interior name label reading LEWIS
* Molded MSA marking inside
* Late-1960s molded QC/date wheels
* Original-style interior warning/instruction labels
* Interior suspension and chin strap present
The molded date/QC markings support a late 1960s production period.
Helmet shows substantial service and age wear throughout, including scratches, scuffs, grime, discoloration, finish wear, red paint/transfer marks, wear to the front shield and decals, and heavily aged interior straps and suspension.
