Vintage decorative wooden trinket / keepsake box made in India, featuring an attractive geometric checkerboard-style inlay pattern in contrasting light and dark wood tones.
The box has a hinged lid and is intended as a decorative storage box for small keepsakes, jewelry, coins, or other small items. It is not a chess or game box, and the lid does not open flat for use as a playing board.
An original “Made in India” paper label remains attached to the bottom, along with an older $3.98 price sticker, adding to its vintage character.
