Vintage Moriage Dragonware salt & pepper shaker set with matching caddy tray, hand painted and made in Japan. Three pieces: two jug-form shakers with applied gold handles, seated in a scalloped black tray. Each shaker carries a hand-painted dragon in raised moriage relief over a smoky black-to-cream ground, with gold-accented tops and gilt trim along the tray. Undersides bear a red "Japan" stamp; the tray base is marked "Hand Painted / Made in Japan." A classic mid-1900s Japanese piece well suited to dragonware collectors or vintage table display. One cork stopper is missing.
