Vintage Panasonic Panapet 70 Model R-70 transistor radio in the iconic red spherical “ball” design. Made in Japan and a great example of Panasonic’s colorful Space Age / Mid-Century Modern electronics design.
This example is especially nice because it retains much of its original packaging and accessories, including:

* Original cardboard packing/display insert
* Original Panasonic paperwork/manual materials
* Original ball chain/key ring
* Red Panasonic Panapet 70 radio
The radio displays very well with bright red plastic, chrome-tone tuning and volume controls, Panapet 70 speaker badge, Panasonic front emblem, and intact headphone/earphone jack.
Condition
Pre-owned vintage condition. The radio has light scratches, scuffs and normal signs of age/use. I do not see any major cracks or large chips. Chrome-tone components show minor age-related wear.
The original box has noticeable storage wear, including edge/corner wear, creasing, surface marks, handwritten marking on the top and some distortion to the lid. Please see photos—the box is original and remains very attractive for display despite the wear.
Original paperwork and internal packaging show age/storage wear as expected.
