This mid-20th-century ethnographic piece showcases a distinct, sharply protruding stylized bird or avian spirit mask face sculpted in high relief. The mask panel features spiral concentric eyes, decorative painted white dot borders, and an angular, stylized beak form.
The face mask area is heavily decorated with traditional white and charcoal mineral clay slips, contrasting beautifully with the natural terracotta base.
