Vintage sterling silver belt buckle by Plata de Jalisco, Guadalajara, Mexico. Rectangular form with a hand-stamped geometric/Aztec-style motif and crushed turquoise chip inlay in a two-tone blue-green field, bordered by a hand-tooled diamond-cut edge. Reverse is hallmarked “PLATA DE JALISCO 925 V.H.L.C. GUAD MEX” within a triangle, with an eagle assay mark and buckle/size numbers stamped nearby. Shows expected age-related tarnish and light surface wear consistent with genuine vintage use; turquoise inlay is intact. Fits a standard 1.5” belt.
