Vintage German Pocket Combination Tool Kit – Multi Tool Set – Made in Germany
Vintage German-made compact pocket tool set stored inside a cylindrical metal case. The clever case doubles as a handle for the interchangeable tools, making this an early predecessor to the modern multi-tool.
The set includes several useful attachments, including a corkscrew, flat screwdriver, pointed awl/pick, spiral/auger-type tool and threaded attachment, as shown in the photographs. The end of the case is stamped “MADE IN GERMANY.”
Believed to date approximately from the 1930s–1950s. The metal has an attractive aged patina with scratches, tarnish, discoloration and plating wear consistent with age and use. It has not been polished or restored.
An unusual collectible piece of German toolmaking and a great addition to a vintage tool, pocket gadget, camping or general antique collection.
