Vintage RARE McCabe Sunset Trails Engraved Sterling Silver Belt Buckle 1.5” Fit For Sale

The Sunset Trails Company was born out of the Srour Company and was a prolific high end maker of sterling silver belt buckles during the mid 20th century heyday of premium silversmithing. This very RARE buckle (it fits belts up to 1 1/2 inches wide) was made during the 1960’s era in Los Angeles, California, their main manufacturing hub at that time. Sunset Trails bought out the John McCabe Silversmith Company in 1960, merging 2 powerhouses of the golden age of western hardware and jewelry. So all of these 3 prominent companies and brands are forever linked and actually employed many of the same artisans. Their quality is superior, highly collectible, very attractive and we think as close to wearable art as you can get.
This buckle measures 2 1/4” x 2 1/4”, fits belts up to 1 1/2” wide and weighs about 60 grams on our scale. It has a semi domed shape and the expert hand engraving is outstanding. Shipping will be USPS ground advantage package, insured.
