Here\'s a genuine old repair-shop find — a lot of 10 new, unused vintage electrical power switches stored in an original Philco service parts box.
These are new old stock service parts that were never installed or put into use. They have been stored for many years and may show normal signs of age and long-term storage.
The original Philco box is marked part number 45-6541, DPST Power Switch, quantity 10. The switches inside are not all identical, however, so I cannot confirm that all 10 are the original Philco 45-6541 switches that came in this box. At least one is clearly marked D&M SP-1, and additional markings and patent information can be seen on some of the others.
These have not been electrically tested. There are different terminal arrangements and switch mechanisms represented in the lot, so please study the photographs carefully for the exact parts included.
The colorful original Philco service-parts box is included and shows age and storage wear. This is the kind of old service stock that\'s getting mighty hard to stumble across — just waiting for somebody keeping an old radio, television, appliance, or other piece of vintage equipment alive.
