Vintage electric railroad-style signal lantern featuring a heavy metal body, clear textured glass globe, protective wire cage, carrying handle, chain and aged painted finish. The clear glass globe is intact, and the light illuminates with a striking red glow when powered on, as shown in the photos.The lantern has wonderful vintage character throughout, including paint wear, surface oxidation, discoloration and patina consistent with age and previous use. I have intentionally left the original aged appearance rather than attempting to restore or refinish it.Tested and working. Measures approximately 10–11 inches tall at the main body, with additional height when the carrying handle is raised.
