Vintage Retsch porcelain covered sugar bowl made in Wunsiedel, Bavaria, Germany. The cobalt-blue and white Sommerblüten decoration incorporates traditional Blue Onion/Zwiebelmuster floral, fruit and vine motifs, including a Fahnenmotiv-style border around the matching domed lid.
The handleless sugar bowl has a gently paneled round form, scalloped rim and sculpted floral-bud lid finial.
