Vintage Rex Pal Red Coaster Wagon from the 1950's/1960's. While has some rust and needs a good cleaning and a paint job, still has its original charm. Can be refinished or used as is. Heavy gauge steel body, Silver colored hubcaps (two missing), steel bolsters and braces. Estimate this wagon to be from the 1950s/1960s.
I got this as a kid sometime in the early 1960's (some posts have this going back to 1940's or 1940's, not sure) and my folks pulled me around in it and used it to carry sisters, pets, tools, etc. Solid and functional, exclusive and rare! Pretty open to offers.
The wagon is in very used condition and has some rust and dents. Has no holes from rust and is not rusted through. One wheel needs a cap or other way to keep it on. Still rolls and have used it a few times around the garage. See images of the wagon for full look at its current condition. For the most part it followed me all over the east coast when I moved. It has always been kept inside, a garage, shed, attic, etc.
NOTE: Used, but in good overall condition for its age. Wagon is structurally sound, wheels roll well, handle moves freely in all directions. There are no holes in the in wagon bed. Bed, handle and hardware does have rusting as should be expected for a metal wagon this old, but is sound. The one rear wheel is missing the end cap and will fall off without it. Another wheel is without the cap, but my Dad connected it with a small nail thru a hole.
Original owner from my early childhood in the early 1960’s. This all-metal wagon had been inside a garage for decades & used sometimes for gardening. Missing 1 of the metal hubcaps(shown in photos). Wagon box bed bottom is a cracked out at 1 of the undercarriage mounting bolts(photo shown).
