Each doll features an exaggerated cartoon caricature of a pivotal 20th-century Russian or Soviet leader, complete with brilliant historical inside jokes hidden in the artwork!
The Masterful Art Detail: The two largest outer dolls visually depict the historic transition and collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991. The Mikhail Gorbachev doll is wrapped in the solid red Soviet flag marked "СССР" (USSR), while the outer Boris Yeltsin doll breaks away wrapped in the modern white, blue, and red tricolor flag labeled "РОССИЯ" (Russia).
