Vintage Sanford Tug Ink Bottle with Pen Rest
The Sanford Co. made this beautiful inkwell with an integrated pen rest in the early 1890s.
The base reads \"Sanford MFG. CO. Patd. Apld. For\".
The well is in good condition, aside from some minor staining and general scuffing from years of use.
The base measures 3 by 2 inches. The body stands 1 1/4 inches tall, and the neck is 2 1/4 inches tall. The base glass is unevenly thick, and the bottle is crude, with bubbles in the glass.
