Vintage Sears Heatmaster Iron 116.6218 with Sunbeam Box & Ephemera Prop For Sale

Up for sale is a vintage mid-century estate lot featuring a Sears Heatmaster Deluxe electric dry iron paired with an original Sunbeam Ironmaster Model A-9 box and a collection of vintage printed paper inserts.
Please note that the iron and the packaging are a historical mismatch from a previous owner\'s storage; the Sears iron was kept inside the Sunbeam box. This complete lot makes an excellent decorative display piece, historical collectible, or theatrical prop.What is Included & Visual Condition:

• Sears Heatmaster Deluxe Iron (Model 116.6218): Features a teardrop-shaped metal body with a reflective chrome finish showing light scuffs and handle-wear reflections. It features a black molded plastic handle and a pointer-style dial over an engraved plate marked \"LOW\", \"RAYON\", and numbers 1 through 4. The base metal plate is stamped with model details, 110-120V, 1000W, and the UL logo. The bottom soleplate is solid grey metal with extensive age scratching and scuff marks. The two rear terminal pins inside the plug cavity show visible rust and oxidation.
• Detachable Power Cord: A thick electrical cord wrapped in a black-and-tan checkered braided fabric jacket showing minor surface fraying. It features a black two-hole female plug meant for the iron, and a round black plastic wall plug with two flat, identical non-polarized prongs. Strands of copper wire are visible where the cord enters the back of the wall plug.
• Sunbeam Ironmaster Model A-9 Box: A two-tone red and black cardboard box with yellow script lettering, a star motif, and manufacturing text for the Sunbeam Corporation of Chicago, IL. The box shows minor edge wear, scuffing, and a plain brown corrugated cardboard interior.

• Cord & Plug Safety Issues: The female cord plug fits very loosely onto the iron\'s rusted terminal pins and will easily fall out on its own, presenting a modern electrical hazard.
