Vintage set of 3 wooden wall hangings featuring Russian wooden churches from the Lake Onega / Kizhi area.
Printed images on dark-stained, rounded-corner wood boards with a gold-to-green spray background. Each piece has a metal wall hanger / hanging ring already attached on the back and is ready to hang.
Two still have paper labels on the back:
• Church of the Transfiguration, built in 1714 — “dominates the Kizhi skyline, a dazzling testament to a Russian craftsman’s way with wood.” (the famous multi-dome church)
• Church of the Assumption near Lake Onega / White Sea — 18th-century sailors’ beacon that “served as a beacon… by tolling its bells in fog.”
Third plaque shows a wooden church with a pointed tower and water reflection.
Approximate sizes (see tape photos):
• Smaller square hanging: about 10” tall x 8” wide
• Two larger hangings: about 12” tall x 8–9” wide
Condition:
Good vintage used condition. Surfaces have scratches, scuffs, edge nicks, and finish wear. Some chips along the top edges. Backs show unfinished wood, residue, and original hanging hardware. Labels are present but worn. Please review all photos carefully — they are part of the description.
