Over the coming weeks I will be offering vintage fountain pens, mechanical pencils and parts which were in a collection of which this item is a part of. None of the pens have been restored beyond simple cleaning/light polishing as needed and should be considered to be as-is for parts or restoration. I will try to point out any issues I am aware of, but feel free to ask any questions you have before offerding.
Offered here is a lever fill fountain pen made by Sheaffer circa the late 1940\'s. The pen is black plastic with gold filled trim. This pen was evidently lightly used because it still has the Sheaffer \"medium\" sticker on the section (although there was residual ink present, showing that the pen had been inked). Capped, the pen is 133 mm long and is 151 mm long posted. The barrel is 11.2 mm in diameter.
The pen has not been recently restored but surprisingly has a functional ink sac of unknown age. It may be prudent to replace the ink sac for improved dependability. The pen is in excellent vintage condition overall.

Regarding shipping: I utilize United States Postal Service Ground Advantage for almost all sales, purchased through shipping. I only charge the amount I am charged for shipping and I do not add handling or packaging fees. Please note that the USPS has recently increased the cost for many of its shipping methods and has changed how package weight affects cost in certain delivery areas. I will combine purchases whenever possible to save shipping costs upon request. Sorry, but I only ship domestically.
