An authentic, vintage small-sized Jewish Tefillin (Phylacteries) set, complete with both the head (Shel Rosh) and arm (Shel Yad) pieces.
The set includes the original black leather straps (Retzuot) and square leather boxes (Batim).
Comes with the original protective casings for the batim. The head casing is decorated with a Star of David and bears the Hebrew inscriptions "ראֹשׁ" (Head) and "ירושלם" (Jerusalem), while the arm casing is marked "יד" (Hand/Arm).
Housed in a unique, historical cloth pouch, likely made in Hungary in the late 19th century. The bag is especially rare, featuring the traditional blessings for donning Tefillin printed directly onto the fabric on both sides, in both Hebrew and English.
