Hand carried from Spain in the early 1960's. Attributed to Muela though not marked as such.This is an early Scouts de España scouting knife as that branch of scouting started around this time (versus the earlier Catholic Scouts).Decorated with the Cross of St. James which notes "Sienfrelisto" which translates to "Always be Ready".9 1/2" knife, with 5 1/4" blade portion, in solid metal with leather sheath.
The white version has a burn mark on the back handle and dirt on the front that may clean as we have not cleaned these in any way.
Leather portions on both is soft and snaps close easily.
Black version has the appearance of being litte or un-used though it has been removed and replaced.
