Colorful collection of seven vintage Susan Paley ceramics designed for Ganz under the Bella Casa line. These whimsical figural ladies are known for their expressive faces, elaborate fashions, dimensional accessories and bright hand-painted details.
The collection includes four figural lady vases, one vase/candle holder, one Jenny Java handled mug, and one small figural salt shaker with two holes at the top and a removable filling plug on the bottom.
Several of the individual designs have been identified as Francis, Gabriella, Jenny Java, Blossom, Gina’s Green Boots and Melinda. The individual character name of the small floral salt shaker has not been confirmed.
Susan Paley’s Bella Casa ceramics were produced for Ganz primarily during the 1990s and early 2000s and have become collectible for their colorful, eccentric fashion-inspired designs.
