This classic general store era tin features a striking yellow and green lithographed lid with bold typography reading "One Pound Full Weight - Light Sweet Burley Fine Cut Tobacco." The side panels showcase clean, matching block text along with the original Factory No. 3, 1st District of Illinois manufacturing stamps and legal notices.
Condition Report: This antique tin is completely empty and sold strictly as a historical collectible display container. The top lid graphic panel is in exceptionally good aesthetic condition with bright, vibrant yellow paint and very crisp text. The side panels are equally clear with outstanding legibility. The unpainted rim margins of the lid and the base have aged naturally to a uniform, deep brown rustic iron patina.
