Vintage coordinating pair of Syroco gold-tone peacock or pheasant figurines featuring one upright bird with flowers and one horizontally posed bird. Both have detailed molded feathers, long sweeping tails, and an aged gilt-gold finish. Wonderful examples of mid-century Hollywood Regency décor.
The upright figurine retains its original Syroco Syracuse, New York label. These pieces are made from Syroco’s molded wood-composition material and are lightweight compared with metal statues.
Pre-owned vintage condition with expected finish wear, darkened areas, surface marks, and areas of greenish patina or discoloration consistent with age. No obvious major breaks are visible in the photographs. Please review all pictures closely, especially the crests, beaks, and extended tail tips.
