The gold gilt clock is a simulated
wood or heavy composite material
was often called Arabesque. The Syroco clock is an open face design.
Which means the hands and the
dial are completely exposed. The Burwood molded resin frame creates
a deep, recessed border around the Syrocoflat white face, but it does not have a glassinsert or a clear plastic lens protecting the hands.
