A vintage porcelain stein with hinged pewter lid and ornate thumb-press. The stein with a Bavarian heraldic crest flanked by two lions above the inscription Bayern, the stein with red bands with trailing acanthus leaves. The lid is embossed with and intricate relief motif. The stein is stamped on verso Theo Kuhn Handmade.
Dimensions: 10 1/4\" H, 6\" W, 4 1/2\" W at bottom.
Condition: some slight wear around the edge of the lid, pewter is well secured to top of the porcelain handle.
