Vintage Tibetan/Nepalese-style Buddhist thangka depicting a central seated Buddha surrounded by multiple deities/teachers within a detailed mountain and floral landscape.
Appears to be hand-painted on cloth and mounted within decorative silk/brocade borders, with an attached protective fabric cover at the top. The reverse shows the traditional unfinished cloth backing and textile construction.
Measures approximately 23” wide x 33.5” long overall.
Shows age and use throughout, including surface wear, discoloration/spotting, scattered paint loss/rubbing, creasing, wear to the silk borders, loose/frayed threads, and general aging to the backing. Please review all photos closely for condition.
