Interesting collection of 11 United States Postal Service employee recognition and award pins, including long-service, safe-driving and accumulated sick-leave awards.
The collection includes six National Safety Council Safe Driver Award pins representing 7, 8, 20, 21, 22 and 24 years of safe driving; 25-year and 30-year U.S. Postal Service service pins; 1500-hour and 2000-hour Sick Leave recognition pins; and a 1995 USPS eagle pin.
The National Safety Council Safe Driver pins were part of the USPS/NSC Safe Driver Award Program recognizing Postal Service employees for safe-driving records.
Pins are pre-owned and show varying degrees of age and use, including surface wear, discoloration, tarnish/oxidation and finish wear. The 1500- and 2000-hour Sick Leave pins appear unused. Backs and fasteners vary, as shown in the photographs.
