Up for sale is a distinctive sculpted freehand from vintage Tinder Box stock, offered in NOS/unsmoked condition with its original store price sticker still attached.
The warm brown smooth finish showcases sweeping grain across the bowl, with birdseye visible in places around the curved surfaces. A pronounced ridge at the front gives the bowl an angular, sculptural profile, while the rounded heel flows into a gently rising shank. A flared black shank extension and decorative bent stem complete the design.
The pipe is unmarked, with no confirmed maker or country of manufacture. Its appeal lies in the distinctive shaping, attractive grain, and preserved unsmoked vintage stock. The chamber remains uncharred, and the rim shows no smoking-related darkening. Light surface scratches, handling marks, and storage wear are visible on the briar and black components. The stem has no obvious tooth impressions in the photographs. The original Tinder Box price sticker remains attached. This was part of a large Tinder Box lot that has been in storage since the late 1980s/early 1990s.
