Beautiful vintage demitasse/espresso cup and saucer set featuring a colorful Chinoiserie-style peony and floral design with gold trim.
The petite cup is decorated both inside and out with pink, blue, yellow and green floral accents, while the matching saucer carries the same decorative motif. Both pieces have a faded backstamp that appears to reference Van Nuys, California, though the maker’s name is no longer clearly readable.

Cup: 2.25” diameter x 1.75” high
Saucer: 4.25” diameter
Nice vintage pre-owned condition with fine crazing throughout, some light age-related discoloration and minor wear to the gold trim. The floral decoration remains attractive and displays beautifully. No obvious chips or cracks were noted.
