Vintage Victoria Ceramics Purple Cow & Calf Salt & Pepper Shakers Japan 1950s For Sale

This is a charming vintage 1950s Victoria Ceramics purple cow & calf set, beautifully crafted in Japan. This mid-century modern anthropomorphic collection features a sitting cow shaker, a standing calf shaker, both measuring approximately 3 inches tall. The pieces are decorated with whimsical expressions, blue rhinestone eyes, and elegant cold-painted gold accents on their horns and hooves. Remarkably, both shakers still retain their rare original tapered cork stoppers and the sitting cow features its original black-and-gold foil crown label. The ceramic bodies are free of structural cracks or chips, though there is notable cold-paint wear and dark surface residue on one side of the sitting cow (as pictured).
