Vintage Walt Disney Dopey figural ceramic/pottery coin bank featuring Dopey from Disney’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. This unusual vintage piece measures approximately 6.5 inches tall and has wonderful character from decades of age.The bank features an aged molded/embossed Walt Disney marking near the base with a date that appears to read “1938.” Because of age, surface wear, and a crack that passes through this area, portions of the marking are difficult to read. The 1938 date is being described as the apparent visible marking only and is not a guarantee of the bank’s exact manufacturing year.The piece shows substantial age-related wear, including extensive glaze crazing throughout, paint/color loss, surface wear, chips/wear around the base, and a visible crack through the lower portion of the bank that passes through the marked area.
