Vintage West Germany Glass Elephant Christmas Ornament 4” Silver Blue Figural For Sale

From my great grandmothers collection.Beautiful vintage West Germany blown glass elephant Christmas ornament, measuring approximately 4 inches tall, not including the hanging loop.The elephant has a silver/cream mercury-glass style finish with wonderful molded details and bright blue painted accents on the ears, trunk and body. It stands on a rounded silver/cream base.The clear cap is embossed WEST GERMANY, as shown in the close-up photo.This is an older vintage ornament and does show age-related wear to the painted and silvered finish.
