------ free USPS Parcel Select shippingThis vintage HTF Royal Haeger pottery white duck planter with its head up and wings spread is the best of the various ducks the company made. The exterior pebbled textured glaze is solid white and the interior smooth shiny glaze is a nice aqua / robin's egg blue color. This vintage duck in white has a streamlined mid century modern look that will fit into interior decors of various styles.This elegant white duck could be used again as a planter, but it could also be displayed as a figurine ---- or repurposed and used as a holder / container for pens or other stuff. If you really wanted it to help you out in your duck decor kitchen, perhaps it could hold your sponge or scrubber or small kitchen tools. Or, in the bathroom it would be a great holder for cotton puffs, a loofah, etc. This duck collectible would also be a great display piece for those of you who collect all of the great antique and vintage children's books about ducks -- especially those from the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s. This vintage American pottery duck, in extremely good condition for its age, is ready to be both beautiful and useful for its new owner.We only have this one Royal Haeger duck, but you can sometimes find its companion duck (with its head down) on ----- if you would like to have the pair. We have cleaned our duck collector's item so that the evidence of its former life as a planter is almost entirely removed (there are still a couple of little brown spots inside).On the bottom of our cute duck, in relief, it reads: ROYAL HAEGER R1845 U.S.A.Approximate Measurements: Height 9 1/2"Width (wing span) 8 1/4"Depth (beak to tail) 6"Base 4" x 3 1/8"Oval planter opening 3 7/8" x 2 13/16"There are no cracks, breaks, chips, etc. There is one extremely tiny spot on the inner rim of the planter's oval opening where there seems to have been a little air bubble in the glaze. Perhaps it is a tiny round chip, but it looks more like an air bubble issue.
