Vintage Winchester Trade Mark Made in U.S.A. 2-Blade Pen Knife / Jack Knife – Black Jigged Handles – Cracked Scales

For sale is a vintage Winchester 2-blade pocket knife marked WINCHESTER / TRADE MARK / MADE IN U.S.A. The knife has black jigged synthetic/composition handles, nickel silver bolsters, brass liners, and two carbon steel blades.

Approximate closed length is 2 1/2 inches.

This is an older-style Winchester pocketknife with honest age and wear. I am not representing the handle material as bone. The handles appear to be black jigged synthetic/composition material.

Marked WINCHESTER / TRADE MARK / MADE IN U.S.A. No pattern number or date stamp was found on the pile side of the master blade or on the other blade when checked under magnification and high-intensity lighting. Based on the tang stamp, construction, lack of later pattern/year markings, and overall age/wear, this appears to be an original Winchester-era pocketknife, likely 1920s–1930s and possibly pre-WWII. Exact year is not confirmed.Original Winchester pocketknife production is generally associated with the 1919–1942 period. Since no later pattern/date markings were found on the pile side of the blades, this knife may date from the early part of that era and could be approximately 100 years old or older. Exact age is not confirmed.

Used vintage condition. The knife shows age, handling wear, scratches, patina, blade staining, pitting, and signs of prior sharpening/use. Both blades have visible discoloration and surface corrosion/pitting. The black jigged handles have visible cracks around the end pins and bolsters, including larger cracks/splits shown clearly in the close-up photos. Bolsters, pins, liners, and backsprings show normal age-related wear and discoloration.
