This is a 1944 commencement program for the Woman\'s College of the University of North Carolina, now known as UNC Greensboro (UNCG). This historic program documents the Fifty-Second Annual Commencement held June 2-5, 1944 and includes black and white photographs of campus buildings, a decorative cord/tassel closure, the graduation schedule and a class roll listing the graduating students. Also enclosed is a card bearing the name Maurine Tate Perryman.
This program provides a snapshot of student life and the college during World War II. It\'s a nice piece for collectors of UNC Greensboro history, North Carolina memorabilia, women\'s education history, collegiate ephemera, genealogy or 1940s Americana.
