Up for sale is an original vintage U.S. Navy Bendix Aviation Talos RIM-8 Missile contractor promo desktop display model dating from the mid 1950\'s. This was made as a reference model for the engineers working on this project. High quality and is a one of a kind model. Hand made out of wood with the wings made of plastic. The base is acrylic. The missile mounts to the base at the end with a threaded metal nut. The model is in very nice condition for its age. The base is in great shape with no chips or cracks. Model has one small edge nick on one of the back wings, no other chips, light surface discoloring at the front, some surface scratched to the original paint and no cracks. Measures approx. 6 5/6\" tall by 6\" long. Being sold as found and seen in the photos. Glare spots are from the lights reflection and not on the actual item. Rare item and is a must for any collector. I will combine shipping on multiple wins.
