A very cool set of 1950s MCM Kitchen Collectibles!

A bit of history...
In the 1950s barbecue and suburban entertaining boom was all the rage - These items were mass imported from Japan by companies like Nevco. They were designed as functional kitchen "helpers.
Each piece in this set is crafted from dense solid wood (Maple or Beechwood) The roosters are all hand painted with a gloss enamel lacquer finish - these were individually painted by Japanese artisans so no 2 are alike
