pliers are not marked with a date code, which suggests production in the early to mid 1920s.In later years Vacuum Grip pliers were marked with \"Made in U.S.A.\" forged into the underside of the handles. We haven\'t pinpointed the date of the transition to this new marking, but it was probably in the late 1930s or early 1940sThe patent date on the pliers corresponds to the Myers design patent#D57,252.
