Vintage 1960s Weller's Antique Reserve 110-Proof Gold Vein Empty Whiskey Bottle 

***VERY RARE BOTTLE, PRE-DATES ANTIQUE 107 PROGRAM BY A DECADE!!***

In the 1960s, the fine folks at Stitzel-Weller in Shively, Kentucky created something special, which would eventually become a flagship bourbon: Weller's Antique 107. But it started as this: Weller’s Reserve 10-Year-Old (110-proof) Barrel Proof Straight Bourbon Whiskey.

They decided to kick it up a notch by featuring it in their famous “gold vein” bottle, then went on to package it beautifully. The bottle originally had a foil-wrapped cork top, yellow velvet bag, box, and paper labels on the front and back (see historical photos at end of listing).  What remains here for sale today is *JUST* the bottle with part of the front label still intact, as well as the state of Georgia sales tax sticker.

Vintage preowned condition as shown. The bottle itself is nice with no chips nor cracks, and part of the original cork inside at the bottom. The top front of the bottle is a bit embellished over the label, to draw attention to it. A COOL SURVIVOR OF KENTUCKY BOURBON HERITAGE!
